Description
Plastic model Zvezda 3608 - Soviet heavy tank KV-2 in 1:35 scale for gluing. The kit contains 393 pieces, length 200 mm.
Template information:
76 mm cannon L-11 installed on KV tanks proved to be too weak for attacks on machine gun nests and other fortifications. The new KV-2 tank thus received the 152 mm M-10 howitzer as the main armament of the turret and was much more effective in fulfilling its primary task, which was to destroy the defensive military fortifications. Production of the KV-2 began in 1940. Soon after the start of World War II on Russian territory, however, its production was gradually stopped, as this single-purpose tank proved to be an exaggerated luxury due to the harsh conditions of the initial stages of the war.
