The VW Beetle (VW Type 1) is a lower-middle-class Volkswagen passenger car model with an air-cooled four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive, built between late 1938 and summer 2003. From 1954, the 122 engine was installed with a cylindrical bore with a diameter of 77 mm by 2 mm, whose stroke is 1192 cm3 instead of 1131 cm3. The enlarged engine provides 22 kW, 4 kW more than the old engine.
