Honda CBX400F is a motorcycle manufactured by Honda between 1981 and 1984. In order to break through the market and respond to demand, Honda introduced the CBX400F in 1981.

The CBX400F had a compact body resembling a CB400 Four, a meter panel resembling a CB750F panel, forged separate handles, forged pedals, an x-shaped exhaust pipe, a hollow aluminum swingarm with pro-line suspension and ventilated disc brakes. In particular the engine produced 48 horsepower when other 400cc class motorcycles could not. Its sophistication and high performance have attracted the market and have long had the highest sales among sports models.

In 1982, the Integra CBX400F was introduced. For the first time in Japan, it was equipped with a fairing and interference mechanism for directional signals. Its sister model CBX550F Integra was also introduced. American style, the CBX 400 Custom was added in 1983.
