Land Rover is certainly one of the most famous symbols of British car production and represents a real milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was created immediately after the war, its first prototypes rolled off the production line in 1947. It was characterized by a traction system with four-wheel drive and a durable and reliable design, thanks to which it was able to deal with even the most demanding roads. The aluminum body guarantees low weight and at the same time greater resistance to rusting and thus longer service life. When the third series was launched in 1971, more than 1 million Land Rover were in the world. The new version was available in two variants: "standard" and "extended wheelbase". Due to its exceptional versatility, the Land Rover was used as a civilian as well as a military vehicle. It was also produced by the Spanish carmaker Santana Motor in the 1970s.
