Boeing A / MH-6M Bird (nicknamed Killer Egg), and its attack variant AH-6, are light helicopters used for special operations in the United States military. Originally based on the modified OH-6A, it was later based on the MD 500E, with a single five-bladed rotor. The latest version, the MH-6M, is based on the MD 530F and has one six-bladed main rotor and a four-bladed tail rotor.

Designed in the 1960s, this small and handy helicopter is still an unsurpassed technical commercial success, thanks to its special reliability and performance features that make it a valid vehicle for civilian and military operators in at least 50 different nations. This particular version, developed by the 530 Defender, was in operation with a limited number of samples with US military special forces, which used it for reconnaissance and night surveillance thanks to the use of an infrared vision system, which together with low noise made it a perfect and quiet "night fox".
