Boeing AH-1 / AB-47 is a small helicopter with a characteristic lattice fuselage and outer shell. It was considered the first real and reliable machine with rotating wings. It initially developed as the H-13 for the US military and was soon adopted by the armed forces of much of the Western world. Various versions were produced under license in England and Italy, where the helicopter was used until the 1970s. They used it for training and then took on the role of observation and ambulance.
