Volkswagen Polo GTI V is a designation for a small car, manufactured by the German concern Volkswagen from 1975 to the present. VW Polo's intention was to bring to market a small lower-class car that would provide the consumer with a car with low fuel consumption and operating costs, while providing a degree of comfort and luxury. This car is therefore especially suitable for the city.
The official history of VW Polo describes it as Mark I to Mark IV (using either Roman numerals or Arabic numerals, with facelifted variants known as "Phase II" models).
The Mk5 Polo GTI was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2010. The new GTI engine is powered by a 130 kW (180 PS) TSI engine that uses both a compressor and a turbocharger. The Mk5 Polo features touch-screen satellite navigation and a seven-speed version of the VW DSG.
