The Ferrari F40 is a super-sports car that was manufactured between 1987 and 1992. The car was introduced on the occasion of Ferrari's 40th birthday. The equipment was very spartan (there was no central locking and power windows) but the appearance was conceived as exceptional. The body was strictly aerodynamic. The engine used a three-liter eight-cylinder supercharged by two turbochargers with an output of 351.5 kW (478 hp) and a maximum speed of 324 km / h. It was therefore the fastest car produced, surpassing the first Porsche 959 (315 km / h). The racing version has been produced under the name F40 LM since 1995. The power was an incredible 440 kW.
