A little about DTM racing
The DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen-Meisterschaft) races have been held since 1984. They take place on closed circuits, mainly in Germany, and fall under the German club ADAC motorsport.
Cars are based on production cars, the body is only reinforced with a steel tubular structure (similar to Rally cars). Rear-wheel drive is mandatory, any electronics assistance (ABS, traction control) is prohibited.
The engine is an 8-liter V-cylinder with a capacity of 4 liters. Interestingly, the aerodynamics of the car cannot be adjusted during the series of races.

Audi 5 The DTM series is a touring DTM manufactured by the German car manufacturer Audi AG. It was developed in 2011 and raced in the DTM 2012-present seasons. The completed A5 DTM was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on September 12, 2011. The A5 DTM is equipped with a 340 kW V8 engine and is mated to a six-speed transmission grafted from a previous A4 DTM. They are equipped with steering wheel vanes, engine electronics and an Audi R8 LMS central display, larger and wider tires from Hankook and more.
