SPAD S.XIII was a famous French fighter biplane used during the First World War. It was developed by Société Pour L'Aviation et ses Dérivés (SPAD) from the previous very successful type SPAD S.VII. It was not only one of the best fighters in the conflict, but also one of the most widespread - 8472 aircraft were built during the war and an order for another 10,000 was canceled after the armistice.
