About us

Company ASTRA, spol. s.r.o. was founded in 1991. It is active in the Czech Republic for more than 20 years. After the foundation has been the main activity of the company production of aircraft models, both under its own brand Scorpio and under OEM brands of major distributors modeling world. Through cooperation with foreign firms can meet with our products on the Czech market, but also to world markets. During its production activities in our society we produced many tens of thousands of models of different categories and structures. Our domain models were made from extruded polystyrene, balsa models of classic design models with fiberglass hulls and composite specials.

In 2002, the company has undergone a major reorganization and started operating in the wholesale distribution modeling products to the retail network. At the same time we begin phasing out production, which was finally completed in early 2005. Currently, the company ASTRA, spol. s r. o. is an importer of foreign goods modeling companies to develop the distribution of their products on the Czech market.

In 2013 the company was moved to modern and larger premises. Now we have a warehouse area of 1900 m². At the same time was to open own company shop, where can by purchased all the products distributed by us.
